We are looking for dedicated and passionate Recycling Operators, who are able to work on the afternoon or night shift at our brand new site located in Onehunga NZ!
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor of the recently refurbished Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), you will be responsible for the monitoring of the flow of materials and quality control
We have vacancies across the night shift, times are as follow:
Night shift: 9pm - 5am
Please note, you may be required to have full time availability to work across all shifts.
About the role:
Sort recyclable materials from a conveyor belt
Remove waste materials so it does not damage plant equipment or the product
Check materials and sort into designated areas by type, size, condition, or colour
Ad hoc labouring duties in the plant as required
Report system problems immediately to management
About you:
Previous relevant experience in Waste Management, Warehousing, Manufacturing or MRF Operations would be highly desirable
You think about safety first
You have a 'can do' attitude
Great communication skills and attention to detail
You are available to have full availability including weekends and OT when required
