About the role

In this role, the Senior Carpet Installer will assist and direct 2 intermediate Installers while setting the site standard and delivering high-quality results.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • installing carpet to a high standard incl. cuts, seams, joins and stairs

  • reading/working accurately from plans and worksheets

  • maintaining quality control & company standards across projects

  • communicating with management, trained team members, builders, project managers and homeowners

  • Assist with planning jobsite workflow & ensuring timely job completion

  • maintaining tidy work sites and equipment while following H&S procedures.

What We’re Looking For

  • Full working rights & eligibility to work in New Zealand essential

  • Proven Senior-level carpet installation experience essential

  • Trade qualifications (or equivalent experience) + building/construction industry background

  • Min. restricted NZ driver licence (full licence preferred)

  • Demonstrated leadership skills & ability to deal with clients/subcontractors

  • Physical fitness for handling all aspects of onsite work

  • Health & Safety knowledge highly valued (Site Safe and First Aid a plus; Site Safe provided if required).
