We are an innovative retailer in NZ, stocking a variety of quality furniture, home wares and lifestyle products.   We are looking for a motivated team player, who has the skills and passion to succeed in a busy Distribution Centre.

The role is based in our Auckland Wiri Distribution Centre and you will be part of a team of 4. This position reports to the National Distribution Manager. 

This role is full time (40 hours), our Distribution Centre is open on Saturday mornings for collections, so be prepared to work on a rotating roster for collections.

Hours in rotation:

Week 1. (40hrs)                                  Week 2 (40 hrs)

Monday 7.00am – 3.30pm              Monday  7.00am – 3.30pm

Tuesday 7.00am – 3.30pm              Tuesday 7.00am – 3.30pm

Thursday 7.00am – 7.00pm             Wednesday 7.00am – 3.30pm

Friday 7.00am – 3.30pm                  Thursday 7.00am – 3.30pm

Saturday 9.00am – 1pm                    Friday 7.00am – 3.30pm

 

You will need to be physically fit as your role will involve heavy lifting. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Picking, dispatching and checking orders.

  • Unloading containers

  • Checking and processing inwards goods.

  • Use of counterbalance and reach forklift.

  • Inventory checks.

  • Warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.

Essential Requirements:

  • High attention to detail.

  • A can do attitude

  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.

  • Current Full Driving License would be an advantage.

  • Basic computer literacy.

  • Physically fit.  As we are primarily a furniture business, some heavy lifting will be required.
