As a Claims Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and processing insurance claims across various lines of business within our organisation. Reporting to the Claims Team Lead, you will be responsible for lodging, assessment and settlement of our clients insurance claims. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced claims professional to contribute to our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact but is also open to those early in their career looking to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and process insurance claims in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Assess claim validity and coverage, applying sound judgment and analytical skills to determine claim outcomes.

• Communicate effectively with policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on claim status and resolve inquiries or concerns.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of claim activities, documentation, and correspondence in accordance with company standards.

 Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in general insurance claims management, with a strong understanding of claims processes and procedures.

• Demonstrated knowledge of insurance principles, policy coverage, and regulatory requirements related to claims handling.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
