This is an exciting opportunity for a current Line 1 Senior Risk professional to work in the Line 1 Risk Team that supports the Risk Division.

You'll gain valuable exposure to the workings of the Risk Division, supporting the risk profile of the Chief Risk Officer and Line 2 Risk GM's.  This is a unique chance to gain exposure and deepen your understanding of Line 2 Risk policies, frameworks, and responsibilities while undertaking key Line 1 Risk and Compliance activities.

We're looking for a Senior Manager - Risk & Compliance to join our Risk Division. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll provide senior-level advice and direction to the Chief Risk Officer and Risk Leadership team, helping the division effectively fulfil its Line 1 Risk and Compliance obligations.

Mo te tūranga | About the Role

• Lead all work relating to Regulatory Change, Better Obligations Management, and Compliance activities including Self Assessments and Attestations.

• Coach and support the business in applying Operational and Compliance Risk Management frameworks.

• Aggregate and monitor the division's risk and compliance profile, identifying material changes and emerging risks.

• Lead and or support the monthly Risk & Control meeting and report on material risk outcomes.

• Perform and test key controls to manage Compliance and Operational Risk.

• Champion taxonomy requirements through Centres of Excellence Working Groups.

• Foster a strong risk culture and role model the Three Lines of Accountability (3LoA).

• Drive continuous improvement and productivity across Line 1 and influence Line 2 Risk culture.
