What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the secure and effective operation of ADR’s IT systems, infrastructure, and compliance frameworks. Your work will include:

  • Defining and maintaining the IT infrastructure roadmap, architecture, and ISMS processes.

  • Partnering with stakeholders to analyse business requirements and develop fit-for-purpose IT solutions.

  • Leading IT projects, including the design and deployment of new systems and services.

  • Monitoring and improving system performance, productivity, and cost‑effectiveness.

  • Managing vendor assessments, hardware/software testing, and upgrade strategies.

  • Leading ADR’s information security compliance programme (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI).

  • Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans, risk assessments, and backup procedures.

  • Ensuring all staff meet technology compliance and security training requirements.

  • Providing leadership to a small team, including coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.

  • Fostering strong internal communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

  • Contributing to ADR’s health, safety, environmental, and quality culture.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with:

  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

  • 2–5 years’ experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or systems administration.

  • Proven experience leading IT projects and rolling out infrastructure across multiple technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of networks, security, systems administration, databases, and storage.

  • Demonstrated experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI compliance frameworks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong governance, documentation, and risk‑management capability.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to different audiences.

  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build trust and inspire others.

  • High levels of accountability, resilience, and comfort working with ambiguity.

  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and project management skills.
